Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne $2M+

To support its rapidly expanding position in the education market, Swinburne has recently completed a refurbishment of their existing 700m2 building and an extension for the Architectural Workshop in the Hawthorn TB building.

Their goal was to create a fit for purpose, contemporary space to improve student services facilities and create engaging spaces to facilitate collaborative learning.

The objectives of the architecture workshop refurbishment are to instigate positive change by promoting improved student and staff facilities, engaging spaces that facilitate collaborative learning; and spatial efficiency through rationalisation of plant and equipment

AREA3 was engaged to provide project management for the implementation of the project. We successfully delivered this project to Swinburne University in late December of last year.
