As part of a multi-million program of work for ANZ, AREA3 managed a range of lifecycle and capacity expansion projects at the bank’s two Melbourne data centres.
Within the overall program, a key project at each site was to provide a “high density hall” within the existing campus. These halls were the most advanced engineering solutions yet built by the bank and were designed to achieve the lowest PUE possible.
The projects included design innovation and energy efficiency techniques that could be implemented despite the spatial and logistical constraints of delivering on an existing site.
All construction, testing and commissioning was done alongside live production without incident, on time and under budget.
